APOSTLES OF EVEREST

Apostles of Everest provides one of the most worthy and provocative evenings of theater New Orleans has seen in a long, long time.”
-Brian Sands, Ambush Magazine

“Intramural Theater's Apostles of Everest marks a welcome return to weirdness, as the sharp absurdist comedy serves up domestic drama, sex farce and dystopian suspense all blended together in the not-so-distant future.”
-Bradford Rhines, New Orleans Advocate

Apostles of Everest tells the story of Tom and Nancy, two middle-aged voyeurs who are auspiciously visited by a younger couple from out of town: Lily is an entomologist, and her boyfriend Hunter is "making a documentary about her studies." Set in a reclusive houseboat community in 2036, the world starts to unravel as we realize that Tom and Nancy may not be the only voyeurs on stage, and the welcome travelers aren't exactly what they claim to be.

This production donated $501 of its revenue directly to Louisiana Bucket Brigade.
